Experimenting

This week for inquiry my group and I did an experiment. The  experiment was to see how much water would be absorbed by the stones.

I first got the materials I needed for the experiment.The materials I needed was a tote tray, a jar, beaker, 100 ml of water,  and stones.Then I measured the jar of stone and it had to way up to 50 g.

Next I poured the 100 ml of water into the jar of stones and then I poured it out into a measuring cup.I had to see how much water was absorbed and how much was not absorbed.

None of the water was absorbed.

This experiment was fun.
