Build a Super Column

Today I did an activity called build a super column.

I had to make a column and stack things on.

First I looked for materials I needed to build my column.

Then I made my column and stacked bean on my column. 

I really liked this activity because I like making things.

    A great use for food cans to complete this activity. The concept you have used isn't far off how multi storied buildings are made. Can you think of the reason behind what makes it so strong?
